Free Wi-Fi available in testing mode at Belarus' railway stations

MINSK, 11 July (BelTA) - Belarusian Railways and the Belarusian mobile carrier Mobile TeleSystems (MTS) launched free Wi-Fi service in testing mode at the Belarusian railway stations on 10 July, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian railway operator.

Wi-Fi hotspots have been set up in waiting areas and lobbies at the railway stations of Minsk, Orsha, Molodechno, Borisov, Baranovichi, Lida, Grodno, Luninets, Pinsk, Gomel, Zhlobin, Kalinkovichi, Mogilev, Osipovichi, Bobruisk, Krichev, Vitebsk, and Polotsk. High-speed network connection is provided by means of 4G and optical channels.

There are plans to start launching the service at every Belarusian railway station from 25 July.
