The fourth stage of the Modern Pentathlon World Cup has ended in Sofia (Bulgaria). Mogilev sportsman Ilya Polozkov won the silver medal. He successfully completed the final type of the program (laser-run), finishing second. Ilya Polozkov lost 8 seconds to the winner of the competition Joseph Chun from Great Britain.

In total, the Belarusian national team has two awards. Earlier, the "bronze" in the women's competition was won by the Minsk pentathlete Anastasia Prokopenko .
