Brest hosted the Cup of Belarus and the republican competition "Our Hopes" in race walking. The strongest athletes of the country in different age categories took part in the competition.

Representatives of the Mogilev region took the second team place in the Cup of Belarus and the third in the tournament "Our hopes". They have 3 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze awards. Anastasia Rodkina finished second in the women's 35 km distance in the Belarus Cup. In other age groups, "gold" won Arseny Kotov (walking 5000 m), Maria Timoshkina (5000 m), Andrey Samosyuk (10000 m). The silver medalist was Vyacheslav Orekh (10,000 m), the bronze - Alina Chernushevich (10,000 m).

Athletes from the Brest region took the first place in the team event based on the results of the Belarus Cup and the republican competition "Our Hopes".
